For the curious adventurer try our rafting trip down the Red Deer River. This tour leaves daily at 10 AM and it’s approximately four hours long.
You start at Eagle Creek and raft down to Wildhorse Flats. Floating down the river while winding through the mountains is gentle enough for your whole family to enjoy.

A 35 km journey that includes all the wonder and majesty of the Wildhorse Canyon trip and adds one of the most popular whitewater runs available in AB. You will experience the next level of excitement as you are guided through Russian Drop, Gooseberry Waterfall, S Bends and many other Class 2-4 rapids. The most comprehensive raft trip offered on the Red Deer River, experience all this river has to offer! Duration: 4-6 hours depending on river flow.

Glamping Bubble Tent

Enjoy glamping in this private, comfortable Bubble tent designed to embrace the outdoor scenery. 360 degree panoramic views. This is for the adventure seekers.
After a short hike in you will arrive at your private secluded Bubble Tent.
Cook your meals over an open fire and fall asleep listening to the river. No neighbor's except the local wildlife.

Bring your sleeping bag, flashlight and drinking water. Firewood is included.

You'll need to pack your garbage out and leave the campsite clean when your stay is over.

How to get here... from Cochrane

Directions from the Hwy 22 and Hwy 1A intersection in Cochrane:
​
Travel west on hwy 1A 13 km to Hwy 40 north.
Turn right and go 27 km where the pavement turns to gravel and you enter the Ghost Public Land Use Zone.
The road is now considered 940 Foresty Trunk Rd.
Travel 54 km to a blue bridge and a T intersection which is Secondary rd 734.
Turn left towards Wildhorse Provincial Recreation Area.
Go 6km and turn left into location.
How to get here... from Sundre

From Sundre Tim Hortons travel west
on HWY 584 for 8 km to Coal Camp Rd.
Turn left and travel 45 km to Secondary 734.
Turn left and continue for 2.8 km, do not cross the blue bridge and continue for another 5.6 km.
Turn left into location.
